A Case of Acute Organic Mental Disorder Associated with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Abstract
|
|
|
The authors observed a case of acute organic mental disorder associated with systemic lupus erythematosus this case shows typical symptoms and signs of SLE such as butterfly rash on the nose, generalized erythematous, macular eruption with mild edematous changes, scatter erythematous eruption on whole body, muscle ache, arthralgia, general fatigue, high fever, albuminuria, anemia, leukopenia, elevated ESR, etc.
This case also shows typical mental symptoms of acute organic mental disorder associated with SLE such as inattention, confusion, disorientation for place, auditory & visual hallucination, and grandious delusion.
